Wisconsin State Trunk Highway 20

Eastern Terminus: WIS 32 in downtown Racine

Length: 42.95 miles

Counties: Walworth, Racine

Routing: WIS 20 begins at the northern end of the US 12/WIS 67 duplex near La Grange.  From there, WIS 20 heads east into East Troy, where it intersects I-43.  Into Racine County, WIS 20 heads into Waterford, then proceeds easterly through the rural portion of the county to its junction with I-94/US 41.  East of there, WIS 20 is a multi-lane highway, passing through Mt. Pleasant, Sturtevant and into Racine, where it comes to an end downtown at WIS 32, about 0.75 mile inland from Lake Michigan.

First reassurance marker for WIS 20 East, located atop a distance sign for East Troy (8), where WIS 20 meets I-43, and Racine (43), which marks the other end of WIS 20 at its junction with WIS 32.

JCT US 12, JCT WIS 67 and END WIS 20 shields on the approach to the Western Terminus of WI 20.  At the upcoming intersection, WIS 20 intersects WIS 67, which splits from US 12 after a 7-mile long multiplex just 1 block to the south.  WIS 20 itself continues for 1 block before it arrives at its physical Western Terminus at US 12, which curves into line with the path that WIS 20 follows.

US 45 North, WIS 20 East and US 45 South shields on WIS 20 East just before its western intersection with US 45.  US 45 duplexes with WIS 20 for approximately 1 mile before resuming its southward trek.
