Wisconsin State Trunk Highway 167

Eastern Terminus: I-43/WIS 32 (Exit 85), at the southern interchange I-43 has with WIS 57 in Mequon

Routing: WIS 167 runs through southern Washington and Ozaukee Counties, and serves a number of northern suburbs of Milwaukee along the way.  Beginning at the intersection of WIS 83 and CTH-O south of Hartford, WIS 167 follows two-lane Holy Hill Rd. east through a primarily rural setting with the occasional subdivision, past intersections with WIS 164 and WIS 175, to an interchange with the US 41/45 freeway.   WIS 167 forms a triplex with the two U.S. highways along the freeway for 3 miles, before resuming its solo path through Germantown, first northeasterly via Lannon Rd., then easterly via Mequon Rd.  Varying in width from two to five lanes, WIS 167 duplexes briefly with WIS 145, then crosses into Ozaukee County and the City of Mequon.  Continuing east, WIS 167 meets WIS 181, then intersects WIS 57, which joins WIS 167 for its final 3 miles.  As WIS 57/167 arrives at I-43/WIS 32, WIS 167 comes to an end, and WIS 57 heads onto I-43/WIS 32 North.

Shield assembly for CTH-W North and South on WIS 57 North/WIS 167 East in advance of the CTH-W/Port Washington Rd. intersection.  The interchange with I-43/WIS 32 marking WIS 167's Eastern Terminus is visible in the background.  Prior to construction of  the I-43 (then US 141) freeway in the late 1960s, CTH-W was actually WIS 32, and, in turn, this intersection served as the Eastern Terminus of WIS 167.
