City of Longueuil Signage at the southern terminus of Autoroute 25 at Autoroute 20.  Southbound A-25 traffic defaults to eastbound A-20 at this interchange.  Traffic wishing to access westbound A-20 (towards the Champlain Bridge) or R-132 must follow the one lane ramp to the right   Click here for A-20 images (Coming Soon!).

City of Longueuil Signage for the ramp to Ile Charron.  The Ile Charron interchange is of a unique 'looped windmill' cloverleaf design.  Quebec's autoroutes often feature atypical interchange designs.  The LaFontaine Tunnel surfaces on Ile Charron and crosses the South Channel to the mainland across a conventional bridge.

City of Montreal View looking south through the approach to the LaFontaine Tunnel.  Note the signage directing drivers to turn on their lights when passing through the tunnel.  Click here for high resolution photo (150kb).

City of Montreal Exit for Avenue Souligney along the southbound A-25.  Avenue Soulingney was the intended eastern end of A-720.  It leads about 2km west of A-25 before dead ending at Rue Dickson.  Click here for high resolution photo (180kb).

City of Montreal Signage for the ramp to Rue Beaubien & Boul. Yves Prevost.  This is the first ramp sough of the A-40 interchange.  The pull through sign for A-25 is slightly misleading, as despite what the sign indicates, the leftmost lane continues south through the LaFontaine Tunnel, while the right lane departs at Avenue Soulingny.
