Routing: OH 725 begins at the Indiana State Line in southwestern Preble County, picking up where IN 44 leaves off. Heading east past intersections with OH 177 and OH 732, OH 725 enters Camden, where it meets US 127. The state route then heads east-northeasterly up to Gratis and junctions with OH 122 and OH 503. OH 725 then heads east-southeasterly into Montgomery County, where it enters Germantown. After following OH 4 northeasterly for a brief distance, OH 725 turns easterly into the Dayton suburb of Miamisburg. At the east end of the city, OH 725 meets I-75 at its Exit 44. Heading east-southeasterly, OH 725 intersects OH 741, then arrives at an interchange with I-675, at its Exit 2. Entering into Centerville, OH 725 duplexes with OH 48 going northerly, then turns east again. Crossing into Greene County, OH 725 passes through Bellbrook, then trends southeasterly toward Spring Valley. Around the west side of the village, OH 725 turns southerly, and comes to an end where it meets US 42 at a T-intersection.
