Ohio Route 435

Eastern Terminus: OH 729, at the easternmost point of its overlap of the former routing of US 35, 2 miles northeast of Milledgeville

Routing: When the US 35 freeway was completed northwest of Washington Court House in 2003, the OH 435 designation came into being.  Following a portion of the former routing of US 35, OH 435's main function is to connect US 35 with I-71, as there is no direct connection between the two freeways.  Beginning at a partial interchange with US 35 north of Octa, OH 435 quickly arrives  at I-71's Exit 65, a diamond interchange.  East of there, OH 435 meets US 35 at another partial interchange.  OH 435 then intersects OH 729, which then overlaps OH 435 for 1 mile.  Where OH 729 turns off of the former routing of US 35 heading north, OH 435 comes to an end.
 

OH 435 meets I-71 at its Exit 65, a diamond interchange northeast of Octa along the Cincinnati-to-Columbus stretch of the Interstate.  Click here for I-71 images.

Newer OH 435 West reassurance marker accompanied by lower, older OH 729 South reassurance marker, posted just after OH 729 joins the former alignment of US 35.  The OH 435 marker here is the first one in the westbound direction.
