Ohio Route 25

Northern Terminus: I-280 (Exit 11) in Toledo

Length: 34.57 miles

Counties: Wood, Lucas

Routing: Starting from a diamond interchange with I-75 near Cygnet, OH 25 is a four-lane highway that follows the former routing of US 25 from that point, through Bowling Green, up past I-475/US 23 and into Perrysburg.  Multiplexing briefly with OH 65, OH 25 then meets US 20, and joins the U.S. highway in crossing the Maumee River into Lucas County and the City of Maumee.  OH 25 then turns northeasterly onto US 24, and the two routes pass through Maumee.  Right over the Ohio Turnpike, the two routes split, and OH 25 follows the Anthony Wayne Trail into downtown Toledo.  After negotiating the downtown area, and after crossing OH 120, OH 25 joins the Greenbelt Pkwy., which takes the state route up to its Northern Terminus at I-280's Exit 11.

Sign truss on OH 25 South in advance of the I-75 interchange.  In typical U.S. fashion, Toledo's main street intersects with the interstate at a large complex interchange designed to funnel as much traffic into and out of the downtown core as possible.

Sounding as an ignorant Canadian, the photographer has no idea what this building is.  It is located within the entire city block bounded by Michigan St., Jackson St., Erie St. and Adams St.
