Ohio Route 231

Northern Terminus: Junction of OH 100 and OH 18/OH 101 in downtown Tiffin

Length: 35.77 miles

Counties: Marion, Wyandot, Seneca

Routing: OH 231 begins in the village of Morral, at the C & O railroad crossing in town where Marion Co. Rd. 67 transitions into the state route.  OH 231 heads east out of Morral, meets OH 423 followed by the US 23 expressway successively, then turns northeastward.  The highway enters Wyandot County, briefly duplexing with OH 294 through the hamlet of Wyandot before heading due north through the eastern portion of the county.  Along the way, OH 231 intersects the US 30 expressway and passes through Nevada.  At OH 103, OH 231 turns west and follows OH 103 for 2 miles into Sycamore, then briefly follows OH 67 north, before heading solo north into Seneca County.  After crossing US 224, OH 231 enters into Tiffin, multiplexing briefly with OH 100 before coming to an end where OH 100 intersects the OH 18/OH 101 duplex in downtown Tiffin.

OH 231 North reassurance marker, paired with a JCT US 23 shield, and situated immediately east of the intersection marking OH 423's Northern Terminus.  Only 0.25 mile separates OH 423 from the US 23 expressway along OH 231.
