The division of Exit 121 into A and B comes at the actual interchange between the connector and OH 163, with A for the ramp to OH 163 West, and B for the ramp to OH 163 East.

The VMS is rarely used, but may display messages when high winds or construction may impact travel on the upcoming Thomas Edison Bridge over Sandusky Bay. The western OH 269 interchange is the third successive trumpet interchange along OH 2 in eastern Ottawa County.

This is a six-ramp parclo AB-4 interchange, with loop ramps provided from I-90/OH 2 West to OH 252 South, and from OH 252 South to I-90/OH 2 East. Note that instead of "Exit Only" text, the lanes for OH 252 South and North, respectively, are delineated on the black-on-yellow portion of the exit sign.

Because of how sharp "Dead Man's Curve" is for I-90 traffic, several warning signs appear along I-90 West in the mile preceding the OH 2 interchange in downtown Cleveland to get motorists to slow to the advisory speed of 35 m.p.h. This includes the left-side, overhead warning sign shown here, located about 0.25 mile in advance of the curve.
