New York Route 690

Southern Terminus: Junction of I-690 and I-90/New York Thruway (Exit 39), a double-trumpet interchange 3 miles southeast of Baldwinsville

Northern Terminus: NY 48/NY 631, at a signalized intersection 1.5 miles northwest of Baldwinsville

Length: 6.71 miles

County: Onondaga

Routing: NY 690 serves as a northwesterly extension of I-690 and exists entirely within northwestern Onondaga County.  This four-lane freeway also operates as a western bypass of Baldwinsville.  Beginning at I-90/New York Thruway's Exit 39 at a direct transition from I-690, NY 690 trends to the northwest, abutting the southern village limits of Baldwinsville, then passing to the west of the town.  Along the way, NY 690 is joined by NY 31 for a brief duplex across the Seneca River, before NY 31 splits off at the NY 370 interchange.  NY 690 then turns northerly, and comes to an end where it meets NY 48 and NY 631 at a signalized intersection to the northwest of Baldwinsville.
