Routing: NY 488 is a
J-shaped route existing entirely within Ontario County. Beginning
at NY 21 in the hamlet of Chapin, NY 488 heads east, then turns more
northerly where it meets County Rd. 20. The state route comes to
an end at a signalized T-intersection with NY 96 between Clifton Springs
and Phelps, just outside of Midlakes High School.
