Western Entrance: Montana border one mile west of Beach in Golden Valley County.
 
Eastern Entrance: Minnesota border at the Red River, which also marks the boundary between the cities of Fargo and Moorhead.
 
Multiplexes: US 52 follows I-94 from Jamestown east into Minnesota. US 83 follows I-94 for 23 miles from Bismarck to Sterling. ND 3 follows I-94 for 8 miles between Steele and Dawson. ND 1 follows I-94 for 5 miles in Barnes County.
