Northern Terminus: Junction of I-35E in Columbus.
I-35W represents the western split of I-35 through the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and Saint Paul. From its southern terminus in Burnsville, I-35W proceeds north through Bloomington and Richfield into downtown Minneapolis. The route continues north until it meets up with I-35E in Columbus and continues north to Duluth as I-35.
