Michigan Route 93

Southern Terminus: Main Entrance to Camp Grayling, southwest of Grayling

Northern Terminus: Hartwick Pines State Park, northeast of Grayling

Length: 11.27 miles

County: Crawford

Routing: M-93 is an interesting route, in that it is composed of two spur routes connected by a pair of multiplexes.  M-93 begins at the main entrance into Camp Grayling southwest of Grayling.  A short trip to the northeast brings M-93 to M-72.  The two routes duplex to the east for 1.5 miles into Grayling.  At the BL I-75 intersection, M-93 departs M-72, and joins the business loop heading north out of town along the former route of US 27.  The multiplexed routes turn to the northeast onto Hartwick Pines Rd. 2 miles north of town, and follow that road to I-75 at its Exit 259.  BL I-75 ends, but M-93 continues northeast for another 3 miles to its endpoint at Hartwick Pines State Park, at the intersection of Hartwick Pines Rd. and Bobcat Tr.

M-93 North comes to an end at Hartwick Pines State Park, near the former main entrance into the park at the Bobcat Tr. intersection.  The entrance was relocated in the early 1990s, but M-93 is still maintained out to Bobcat Tr., where the M-93 North ENDS assembly shown here appears.
