Eastern Terminus: I-69 (Exit 48), at a diamond interchange 1 mile west of Olivet Length: 10.75 miles Counties: Calhoun, Barry, Eaton Routing: M-78 begins at a T-intersection with M-66 north of Battle Creek in northern Calhoun County. The state trunkline runs easterly, then travels to the northeast, cutting the southeastern corner of Barry County before entering into southwestern Eaton County, where it turns easterly into Bellevue. In downtown Bellevue, M-78 turns south from Central Ave. onto Main St., then upon departing the town, turns back to the east, and upon arriving at I-69 at its Exit 48 about 1 mile west of Olivet, M-78 comes to an end.
