Western Terminus: US 127 (Exit 66) in Mason

Eastern Terminus: US 23 (Exit 54), north of Whitmore Lake

Length: 44.05 miles

Counties: Ingham, Livingston

Routing: M-36 traverses the southeastern quadrant of Ingham County and the southern portion of Livingston County, connecting the US 127 and US 23 freeways in the process.

M-36 ENDS shield assembly at the Eastern Terminus of M-36 at the US 23 freeway, located before the flashing beacon intersection with Whitmore Lake Rd. (Old US 23).  US 23 is situated just beyond the aforementioned four-way stop intersection.
