Michigan Route 11


Western Terminus: I-96 (Exit 24), at a partial interchange northwest of Walker and the Ottawa-Kent County Line

Eastern Terminus: I-96 (Exit 43 A), at a six-ramp parclo B-4 interchange just east of the Kentwood City Limits in Cascade Twp.

Length: 20.96 miles

Counties: Ottawa, Kent

Routing: M-11 begins at I-96's Exit 24 between Coopersville and Walker in eastern Ottawa County, and follows Ironwood Dr. southeasterly, crossing into Kent County and the City of Walker.  M-11 turns south onto Wilson Ave., and runs southerly through the western portion of Walker, passing M-45/Lake Michigan Dr. on its way down to meeting I-196 just after crossing the Grand River and entering into Grandville.  At that point, M-11 turns easterly, and follows 28th St. into the northern part of Wyoming.  After intersecting the US 131 freeway, M-11 passes through the southern part of the City of Grand Rapids.  After entering into suburban Kentwood, M-11 arrives at its junction with M-37/M-44.  Further east, M-11 crosses into Cascade Twp. just prior to arriving at its endpoint, which is also at I-96, this time at its Exit 43 A.  28th St. continues as a locally-maintained roadway east of I-96.

M-11's Western Terminus is at a partial interchange with I-96 (Exit 23) between Coopersville and Walker in eastern Ottawa County.  Click here for I-96 images.
M-11 intersects M-45 in Walker.  M-45 links Grand Valley State University with the Grand Rapids vicinity.  Click here for M-45 images.
M-11 meets I-196 in Grandville at its Exit 70.  The Interstate heads southwesterly from M-11 toward Holland, and northeasterly to downtown Grand Rapids.  Click here for I-196 images (coming soon).
In northeastern Wyoming, M-11 meets the US 131 freeway at its Exit 81.  US 131 treks south to Kalamazoo, and north into downtown Grand Rapids.  Click here for US 131 images.

Kent County
City of Kentwood

M-37, M-44 East and M-11 East reassurance markers on M-11 East in advance of its junction with M-37/M-44/East Beltline.  This intersection marks the Western Terminus of M-44, so while M-37 goes south from this intersection as a solo route, M-44 is duplexed with M-37 heading north along the East Beltline from here.

From M-11 along the Kentwood-Grand Rapids boundary,  M-37 heads south toward M-6 and Hastings, while the M-37/M-44 duplex heads north through the eastern suburbs of Grand Rapids.
