Ingham County Wheatfield Township	Bridge-mounted Clearview 1.25 mile advance exit sign for the Dansville & Williamston interchange (Exit 117) on I-96 East, affixed to the Zimmer Rd. overpass of I-96 East. With an extremely wide median in this vicinity, Zimmer Rd. crosses over separate bridges for each of the westbound and eastbound carriageways.

Livingston County Brighton Township	Sign truss with I-96 East guide sign and exit signs for US 23 North (Exit 148 B, 0.25 mile) and US 23 South (Exit 148 A) at the divergence of the exit ramp to US 23 South. In addition to serving the home of the University of Michigan, US 23 South also serves as a direct route for traffic heading toward Toledo, Ohio, which is located just an hour to the south of here.

Oakland County Lyon Township	Overhead Clearview exit sign for Kent Lake Rd. (Exit 153) on I-96 East. The Kent Lake Rd. exit off of I-96 is a five-ramp interchange, with the lone loop ramp connecting SB Kent Lake Rd. with I-96 East.

Oakland County Lyon Township	Overhead Clearview exit sign for New Hudson and Milford (Exit 155) on I-96 East. This, the Milford Rd. interchange, is a parclo AB-4, with loop ramps provided from I-96 West to SB Milford Rd., and from SB Milford Rd. to I-96 East. New Hudson is a hamlet located just south of here at the intersection of Milford Rd., Grand River Ave. and Pontiac Tr. Milford, meanwhile, is located approximately 4 miles to the north of this interchange.

Oakland County Lyon Township	Sign truss featuring 0.25 mile advance exit sign for New Hudson (Exit 155 A) and exit sign for Milford (Exit 155 B) on I-96 West at the exit ramp to NB Milford Rd. This and two other sign gantries along this stretch of I-96, all erected in April 2007, are of a variant style to the typical box truss style used in Michigan. These feature a triangular truss structure supported by a pair of thick steel poles, and are commonly used in places such as Ontario and Illinois.

Oakland County Lyon Township	View of I-96 facing west toward the Milford Rd. interchange from the South Hill Rd. overpass. South Hill Rd. crosses over I-96 at approximately mile marker 156. Note that there are two "openings" in the median ahead. These are the respective underpasses for a former railroad grade (now bike trail) and Milford Rd. When the median was paved and a concrete tall-wall was installed, dual carriageways were (and still are) maintained at all three of the underpasses of I-96 in the 15-mile stretch between US 23 and the interchange with I-275, I-696 and M-5.

Oakland County City of Novi	Sign truss with Clearview advance exit signs for I-275, I-696 and M-5 (2.25 miles), as well as for Novi and Northville (Exit 162, 1 mile) on I-96 East.

Oakland County City of Novi	Sign truss with Clearview 1.25 mile advance diagrammatical exit sign for the upcoming interchange with I-696, I-275 and M-5 (Exit 163), along with Clearview exit sign for Novi and Northville (Exit 162) on I-96 East at the Novi Rd. interchange. Like the previous sign gantry, this one also features a triangular truss structure to which the exit signs are affixed. The interchange between I-96 and Novi Rd. is a six-ramp parclo A4. Upon the merge of the ramp from SB Novi Rd. onto I-96 East, a fourth eastbound lane is formed, leading into the huge interchange ahead.
