Provincial Trunk Highway 100

PTH 100 comprises the southern part of the Perimeter Highway that encircles the City of Winnipeg. It maintains the Trans-Canada designation and both starts and ends at PTH 1, the Trans-Canada Highway. It is twinned and divided through its entire length. Click here to show the route.
 
PTH 100 is as close as Manitoba has to a freeway with controlled interchanges at both its eastern and western termini as well as the junctions of PTH 59/Route 20 (Lagimodière Boulevard), PTH 75/Route 42 (Pembina Highway), PR 427/Route 145 (Wilkes Avenue) and PR 241/Route 105 (Roblin Boulevard). There are traffic lights at the junctions of Route 150 (St. Anne's Road), PR 200/Route 52 (St. Mary's Road), Route 80 (Waverley Street) and PTH 3/Route 155 (McGillivray Boulevard).
 
PTH 100 serves as the northern terminus for PR 330 and the eastern terminus of PTH 2, PR 427 and PR 241.
 
Western Terminus: Junction of PTH 1/Route 85 (Portage Avenue) and PTH 101 at the western edge of Winnipeg.
 
Eastern Terminus: Junction of PTH 1/Route 135 (Fermor Avenue) and PTH 101 in the RM of Springfield east of Winnipeg.
