Western Terminus:
I-164 (Exit 5), at a four-ramp interchange on the Vanderburgh-Warrick County Line in Evansville

Eastern Terminus: Signalized intersection with Ellerbusch Rd. on the western town limits of Newburgh

Length: 1.51 miles

County: Warrick

Routing: IN 662 is currently a short spur route that runs just north of the Ohio River between I-164 at its Exit 5 on the Vanderburgh-Warrick County Line in Evansville and the village of Newburgh, where the highway comes to an end on the western edge of the town at a signalized intersection with Ellerbusch Rd.  Until recently, IN 662 continued east through Newburgh, coming to an end at a junction with IN 66 approximately 1 mile to the southeast of the town.

IN 662's Western Terminus is at I-164 in the southeastern corner of Evansville.  The Interstate connects with US 41 to the southwest, and I-64 to the north.

Ohio River Scenic Byway marker on IN 662 East just after the I-164 interchange.  This National Scenic Byway follows the series of highways, like IN 662, that straddle the northern banks of the Ohio River through Illinois, Indiana and Ohio.
