Centre - Approaching the Hwy 78 Freeway Interchange on northbound Interstate 15B in Escondido. Observant road enthusiasts can still find historic mile markers indicating the former U.S Route 395 designation within this freeway interchange. These mile markers were not removed when U.S. Route 395 was decommissioned.
