Left - Facing north along Hwy 247 towards Lucerne Valley. This long highway connects Yucca Valley near Palm Springs to Interstate 15 at Barstow.

Right - Facing south along Hwy 247 towards Yucca Valley. This highway forms the only north-south state highway link across this part of the vast Mojave Desert. The next north-south highway link is U.S. Route 95, which straddles the California-Arizona State Line about 100 miles to the east.
